Maddie is graduating from Millard West High School where she was involved in the Music and Drama programs. She has been involved in High School Youth Group and has participated in 3 Youth Mission trips and will go to Workcamp in Wausau, WI this summer. Maddie will attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and major in Secondary Education with the plan of becoming a high school English teacher.
Ashley is graduating from Elkhorn South High School where she was invited to All State Choir three times and in the Show Choir, winning a few Solo Awards. She is active in High School Youth Group, has been on 4 mission trips, and will have her 5th mission trip this summer! Ashley will attend Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD on a Lutheran Legacy scholarship to study Nursing.
Blake is graduating from Millard South High School. He will graduate with a 4.0+ in all four years along with completing the Early College program, which sees him graduating from Metro Community College with an Associate of Arts degree a week before officially graduating from high school. Blake will attend Iowa State University, working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Design.
Join us in worship on Sunday, May 10 (Mother's Day) when we'll have a Graduate Blessing! Each graduate will receive a blessing along with a quilt handmade for them by the Women of St. Thomas! It is our hope that the blessing and the quilts will remind each graduate that you are wrapped in the love of God and your church family!
