Friends,
We are headed home now but I have a few things to share about Friday!
The final day carries its own pressure as projects need to be finished- no one wants to leave an unfinished job. I told you yesterday that some crews would finish their projects early, but most projects come down to the wire on Friday afternoon and those who finished early will be farmed out to other sites to help get the jobs completed.
Our youth move all over the place and I occasionally had the joy of finding lots of our kids on one site. I'm sorry I couldn't get to everyone, but they shared photos with me.
As crews returned to the school, we began the process of organizing and loading the tool trailer. It was hot work but not as hot as loading it in Omaha was! We had a hot weather week and smokey week, unusual for Wausau.
We had a lot of fun on our last evening of Mission- showers, dinners, program, residents, snacks, games, and Care Cards! It was the best week in all ways, and we leave with hearts full of love and ready to Illuminate the rest of our lives for Jesus.
We already know where Youth Mission 2027 is. MEXICO...
...Missouri. We hope you'll join us!
