Evensong
Wednesday, December 2, 7:00 pm, Sanctuary

Evensong is an evening worship service near twilight that is filled with the singing of psalms, biblical canticles, and prayers. It is designed to offer thanksgiving for the day that has passed and to provide a space for quiet contemplation and spiritual peace.

Blue Christmas: A Service of Lament, Healing, and Hope
Wednesday, December 9, 7:00 pm, Sanctuary

Although the holidays are joyful for so many, it is also true that the holiday season can be impacted by grief, loneliness, and anxiety. This worship service is designed to provide space for prayer, reflection, and acknowledgement of the darkness while also celebrating the gift of light. As we carry our burdens in, let them be lifted from us as we travel back out into the world, holding God's light and love divine in our heart and soul, and anticipating the promise of Emmanuel — God with us.

Advent Cantata - "Resounding Joy"
Wednesday, December 16, 7:00 pm, Sanctuary

Join us for a candle-lit musical service that blends sacred choral pieces, scriptural readings, and congregational prayer and singing to mark the waiting and anticipation of the coming of the Christ child. Come hear and reflect upon what God is calling us to be: neighbors, servants, witnesses, and people of God with love for one another. Music will be provided by:

  • New Life Choir
  • St. Thomas Ringers
  • Elliott Lockwood, piano
