No. You are welcome at everything we do. But membership is how you officially make our church your church. We welcome you to participate and, should you desire, to join our church family.
We offer a New Member Orientation at various times throughout the year. Designed as an informal gathering that offers an opportunity for our Pastors to connect with you and hear your story, and to explore what we believe, who we are as an ELCA Lutheran community, and, for those who are interested, the process of formally joining as a full participant in our mission.
Visit our New Member Orientation page for dates and details.
We celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and God's grace to us through baptism at all ages- infant, child, and adult. Baptism is the Sacrament that God uses to claim us as His own with the promises of forgiveness, mercy, and eternal life. But baptism isn't a one-and-done event. Baptism happens in community with a congregation, as we pledge to care for and nurture the one being baptized throughout life. We look forward to being with you along your faith journey.
If seeking baptism, please contact Pastor David at DNordstrand@stlc.org.

Yes! One of our ushers rings the bell three times at the beginning of each 8:30 am Traditional Worship, honoring the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). This serves as a call to worship- for the community to stop secular activities and focus our hearts and attention on the sacred.
Ask God for discernment as to where He is leading you.
This is a personal commitment (we don't take attendance!), but the more often we gather together, the more we hear God's word and get to know each other, developing relationships with people and with Jesus.
Complete and submit our Connect Form. We look forward to getting to know you and connecting you with our church community.
Come often! Attend Coffee Connection on Sunday mornings! Join a Small Group, a Bible Study, a Music Ensemble, or a Ministry Team! We'd love to help you connect to our church family!
Serving together is a great way to help those in need and build caring relationships with the people with which you're serving.
Worship as well as our educational, service, and fellowship opportunities are open to all.
