I began my ministry as the Associate Pastor at St. Thomas in August of 2024. My areas of focus include: Community Life (small groups and fostering a sense of connection and community within the congregation), Evangelism (equipping all followers to share their faith stories while welcoming and inviting others to experience the love of Jesus), and Outreach (encouraging service and community engagement beyond the walls of St. Thomas). Another part of my ministry portfolio involves expanding the pastoral care ministry and creating a process for connecting with and engaging newcomers.
My favorite scripture verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. This verse keeps me grounded in the gift of grace and reminds me that ultimately, this life is not about me– my accomplishments or my failures, my gifts or my faults. I wasn’t created to be or do it all. Instead, this verse reminds me that, as long as I get out of the way, Jesus will use whatever I have to offer, accomplishing far greater things than I could ever do on my own.
I am a single mom to an amazing daughter who is off at college– making her dreams come true and living her best life. I love to travel, listen to all kinds of music, spend time outdoors, engage in one-on-one conversations, and go to concerts, movies, and the theater. I love coffee, and Jesus, and am a work in progress.
