Care Ministry started in March, 2026. It is focused on providing prayer and care to congregation members in need of support. The scope of the Care Ministry is to provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support to the congregation and to come along side those who are in need. Whether it be walking with someone during their grief journey, supporting someone as they take steps toward recovery, visiting the homebound or hospitalized, or simply offering a compassionate listening ear, the Care Ministry offers short-term care and support. Whether it be offering individual prayer, notes of care, visitation, or even assistance with transportation, groceries, or errands, the Care Ministry is equipped and ready to meet people where they are. Members of the Care Ministry receive training and are commissioned for their role as Care Ministers.
